• The Fifth Edition of Alcoholics Anonymous (Big Book) was approved with minor editorial updates.
• Conference approved replacing the word “Eskimo” with a neutral, non-racial term in applicable literature.
• The Plain Language Big Book continues to expand, with over 215,000 copies distributed and an audiobook expected in 2026.

📚 Twelve-Step Workbook Proposal
• A proposal to create a Conference-approved Twelve Step workbook/study guide was ultimately declined.
• Estimated project costs discussed at Conference were approximately $100,000–$130,000.
• Many members expressed concerns about preserving sponsorship and one-on-one recovery work rather than creating official instructional material.

🍇 Grapevine & La Viña
• Grapevine still does not accept direct contributions.
• Updated guidance encourages groups to support Grapevine and La Viña through subscriptions, books, gift certificates, Carry the Message projects, and other literature purchases.
• Grapevine digital subscriptions and app usage continue to grow significantly.

📱 Everything AA App
• AAWS officially acquired the Everything AA app effective May 1, 2026.
• The app currently has over 1 million downloads and is viewed as an important tool for carrying the message.
• As the app transitions under AAWS ownership, non-conference-approved material (including Joe & Charlie recordings and similar content) is expected to be removed in order to align the app with Conference-approved content and A.A. traditions.

🔒 Corrections & Accessibility
• Continued focus was placed on expanding literature access in correctional facilities through tablets and digital resources.
• Updates are underway for corrections materials, including accessibility improvements and prerelease contact information.
• Work continues on pamphlet development related to underserved and diverse populations within A.A.

📣 Public Information & Digital Outreach
• Conference committees encouraged additional short-form digital outreach and video content.
• Discussion included the use of modern technologies and cost-saving tools, including AI-assisted media production where appropriate.
• The pamphlet “Understanding Anonymity” was renamed “Anonymity – Our Spiritual Foundation.”

💰 Financial Highlights

Contributions were down approximately 6% from 2024.
• Approximately 34% of registered groups contributed to GSO during 2025.
• Literature sales and digital services continue to play an important role in supporting A.A. services.
